I love the fact that this song was Paul McCartney’s answer to hearing The Who.
Although it’s probably in the “overplayed softrock” category, the song for this puzzle’s inspiration is not inherently a bad one.

Between “Pyromania” and “Synchronicity”, the year of 1983 on rock radio was pretty much spelled out for us.
If, for some reason, you don’t like AC/DC, you have to hand it to them for their commitment to formula. I always wondered if anyone else caught how the guitar on “Thunderstruck” was first introduced on “Who Made Who.”
